Do you think Bryant Selenbangue is deserving of 2nd/3rd team. He was #1 in rebounding in league, like # 3 in fg% and 22 in scoring. On the absolutely trash board for AAC no one is even bringing him up but I think he should be deserving of the conversation.

Selebangue is the key player that Konkol will be building the team around for next season!

Selebangue is the only player that I can see that will definitely be a starter on next years team. The other 4 places will be up for grabs!

They might as well have given the sportsmanship award to Houston. They got everything else. 6th man, most improved, best jumper, best clutch player, best guard combo, quickest feet, smoothest shot award. They don't realize we would beat a few of those teams if they don't double Selebangue.

Best player on a bad team rarely gets much love. Surround him with some pieces next season and if we win some games and he has the same production he will get the recognition he deserves.

Very difficult for players on 1–15 teams to get conference awards.
Sadly true, no one wants to recognize talent that does exist on a 1-15 team.

Side Note:
Our only win cost Tulane the #2 seed. They had the tie breaker over Memphis beating them twice.

Our loss cost them, but I imagine they are blaming it more recently on losing to both Wichita St and E. Carolina. A win in any of those three games would have taken the two seed from Memphis.(Tulsa, Wichita St., or E Carolina) At least two of those three losses could have cost them a bid to the ncaa as well.

Tulane is a player away from being the team to beat in the conference next year. They've got a lot of good players but not one great player. They're well coached and they play extremely hard.

Memphis will probably bring in some good players and will be tough to beat. They still play a lot of playground ball and turn it over too much. That is the coaching but his defense looks better.

Memphis coaching is atrocious.
They just have to be good at paying 5 or 6 guys that can get along and throw the ball up. They failed at that last season, so it's questionable, but they seem to have done alright with this years group of carpet baggers.
