Did Knox Sr. (almost) make Bamba's commitment for him?
(He said one reason for UK was his friendship with Mobam)

After watching Knox's mixtape he reminds me of KAT. Don't take that the wrong way. I mean his form, the way he runs he just moves like KAT. Not saying he's the same type of player just literally moves like him.

Bamba would be like adding a pie to the cake. Looking very favorable.

Smart players want to play with other smart players.

That is what I got out of the Knox interview with Kevin Sr.

I still like our chances over Shaka.

I can't imagine anyone being upset with Cal after grabbing these 2 this late. You simply can't be upset, whether Diallo comes back or not. And I like our chances there as well.

I know, nbadraft.net is not as reliable as draftexpress, but right now, I see:

Bamba - 2 pick
Vanderbilt - 10 pick
Knox - 11
Diallo - 14
Richards - 15

That's 1/3 of the top 15 in the draft, and Diallo coming back would increase his stock and get himself into the lottery.

Side notes:
- this mock has Charles Matthews as a 1st rounder at 30 to Golden State. This is definitely something I didn't think I'd see in any draft.

- MIles Bridges at 13, which to me says your stock may not improve much, and I know its too early.

- No Bolden at all.

Just looking at the potential of a roster that may be the most balanced that Cal has ever put together. And that mock doesn't have Washington, Gabriel, Green, or Johnson in it.

I agree, if Diallo does stay in the draft, this definitely more than makes up for the whole situation. Nice recovery by Cal and a potentially great team to watch next season.

Berger said the podcast for his show will have it, but I haven't been there myself.

If you are referring to this interview he doesn't quite say that.“Kevin and Bamba definitely have similar personalities. It’s safe to say no one really knew where Kevin was going, and you guys have no idea basically where Bamba is going,” he said. “Kevin and Bamba talk 5 of 7 days a week. So who knows? I just know Bamba really likes Kevin; Kevin likes Bamba. I think it would be really great for them to play together. So we just gotta see how that conversation goes over the next couple of weeks.”

I like how he said KP was in tears after the commitment.

From what I've seen he's not bad at workin' out with sasquatch either.
