It appears that if a thread is started by someone that you have on ignore, you do not see the thread at all.
Pretty much a good philosophy. On an Internet message board there should be virtually nothing that can’t be said (maybe an actual death threat). And there should be virtually no reason to suspend/ban anyone.
So the fact that political discussions on this board are pretty much verboten should be **** canned then?
Sure. Put OT in the subject line, so it is recognized. People can choose to read and/or participate in them. No one is physically harmed by back-and-forth comments on political topics. (My personal opinion is having my feelings hurt is not physical harm.)
Pretty sure this was discussed a while back with some rather strong opinions (Wonder if those will be walked back now that we're in the running for him). I don't even know how you get caught for something like that. Especially when a substantial proportion of the population is actively carrying an STD.
Given that some start out sidetracked, probably not. As far as the Oline goes, NU is now paying for the poor recruiting that took place prior to Raiola. In the classes were signed in 2021 and 2022 (Raiola was hired in December of 2022), Lutovsky (2021) and Evans (2022 - DL recruit) are starting and Teddy P. (2021) would be playing. No players listed as OL recruits were signed in the 2022 class.maybe a record time for a thread to get sidetracked
