No idea personally but the guy sitting behind me at the game last night said it was a wrist injury and nothing serious. I didn't see it wrapped though and I thought it looked like he had a slight limp last night. So basically I'm no help. 😉

He wasn’t walking around in a boot which is always a positive.

I posted this in another thread but some might have missed it.

I heard it's a minor hip flexor injury. If so, my guess is we can definitely expect him back for Merrimack on Nov. 20 with a good chance he'll return for the St. Peter's game or Monmouth game. It all depends how he responds to treatment.

I seriously doubt the staff will allow him to play while he's experiencing any pain. Hip flexor injuries can linger if you play with them. No need to risk it.

Pat trying to get the crowd to stand for the opening bucket was so Seton Hall and cringy. In one of the loudest buildings in college basketball you don't need to start some weird lame tradition or people then sit on their hands for the next 39 minutes and 30 seconds.

Could be worse obviously but it's unfortunate Ace is missing these valuable games to adjust to college ball before the Vegas tournament

less worried about Ace adjusting but more worried about team adjusting with him playing and everything on all cylinders....may only get a game or two with the healthy roster before Vegas

they are learning to play without him which is a good thing but its likely alot of differences and just speed of the game will increase with Ace in the lineup

Ok so it wasn’t subway.
But was eavesdropping on the RU Hoops convo at the table next to me at a local watering hole, then had to jump in…

These ladies seemed surprised by me suggesting that he wouldn’t play next week. They were optimistic he’d be in the lineup Monday (but still didn’t practice yesterday…hadn’t heard yet if he practiced today).

Take it’s for what it’s worth but they left me with good vibes on it.

Ace told one of the security guys (who asked him during warmups) that he bruised his hip and he expected to play Monday… of course that could change.

I wish we all stood at tipoff
The Cuse / UConn thing where they stand until the first basket scored is pretty cool though too IMO
Although, as a Mets fan, I always thought the Yankee bleacher "Roll Call" was pretty awesome too (blasphemy, i know)!
