FWIW, and I don't know if it has already been said, but I was watching Bagley very closely every time they showed him on TV and saw him say more than once, "I'm good". To teammates and MSU players. Obviously he will be monitored and likely tested more when they get back to campus. Just thought I would pass it along to anyone who didn't catch it.

Thanks for that! I thought I saw on twitter that K said during his postgame interview that they kept bagley out as a precaution

Scary injury’s and he should be fine...thank god it’s not a knee or foot or something like that..

Also I couldn’t help but think...with the way our injuries go..that it would end up being some kind of catastrophic eye injury...thank god it’s not...

I heard on twitter he was going to wear and eye patch the rest of the season and talk like Jack Sparrow! ;)

Get well quick young man, can't wait to see you on the floor soon.

Scheyer's injury was a detached retina...not a scratch. It was encouraging that he was on the bench by the second half. BTW -- Duke Eye Center is _World-class_. Pretty sure he has an appointment there as soon as he gets back in Durham.

Class act by Coach K. I can imagine that it was tempting to put Marvin back out there after MSU made a couple big runs and took the lead, but think in the long term that it will be good for Wendell and Jav to know that they can hold down the front court along with Bolden and Vrank against one of the other best front courts in college ball.

If Marvin would have played for UNC, Roy would have freaked out when MSU tied the game back up toward the end of the 1st half, gave Marvin some Nana pudding during halftime, and put him back on the court to start the 2nd half.

All of this detached retina talk is making me light headed :( lol. Weak stomach. But he should be fine. Eyes tend to heal fast

My son has had multiple Corneal Abrasions ranging from minor to severe (seems like he would learn to blink quicker by now).

The worst that he had - where you could actually see material hanging off the surface of the eye - healed in a week or so and he could go to school and everything. They put a medicated contact on the eye. Scratches are just a matter of a few days.

That is one of the big excuses in the rotation.

That is always my favorite as if being given a scholarship entitles a player to x amount of playing time. Did the player get a scholarship? Did it cover all of his tuition? Did he get an opportunity to compete for playing time? What is the issue?

Any player that doesn’t want to compete for playing time can leave. Transfers will never bother me, it’s a revelation of character if anything.
