Ha!! It feels like every halftime performance the band plays either Chicago or Elton John. Checkout what tOSU, Michigan, MSU do. Nobody leaves their seats at half.
Loved the marching band selection of the salute to military - sure to be a crowd pleaser and very well done.
Saw the band back in the nineties when they played in Seattle against Washington. They put on a hell of a show. Husky Stadium use to have a track around the field. Three Sousaphone players surrounded a Husky cheerleader and trapped her on the track for a few seconds by playing their horns and spinning around her in a rotating circle. It was pretty funny
I don't know if I would go that far but they definitely have been slipping ever since we've joined the BIG. They've cut numbers over the years trying to do with less. They don't play as much during games. I guess we've invested in nice speakers
