We have tentatively signed an agreement with Google and Microsoft to test their new football AI DC bot...
Why not? We had an AI OC bot for the last 7 years which is why we ended up with a billion runs up the middle during that time. Hopefully they get that program debugged or add some more plays to its programming

I asked Bard(google's AI bot) to write me a post to give you all insight on the coaching search. You are welcome:

Tulsa Football Still Searching for Defensive Coordinator

The University of Tulsa football team is still searching for a defensive coordinator, more than two months after the start of spring practice. Head coach Kevin Wilson has said that he is taking his time in finding the right person for the job, and that he wants to make sure that he finds someone who is a good fit for the program.

There have been a few rumors about potential candidates for the job, but nothing has been confirmed. One name that has been mentioned is former Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles. Knowles left OSU after the 2022 season to take the same position at Ohio State. He is considered to be one of the top defensive minds in college football, and his hiring would be a major coup for Tulsa.

Another name that has been mentioned is former Tulsa defensive coordinator Matt Guerrieri. Guerrieri left Tulsa after the 2022 season to take the same position at Indiana. He is a rising star in the coaching ranks, and his return to Tulsa would be a popular move with fans.

Wilson has said that he is still in the process of interviewing candidates, and that he hopes to have a decision made soon. The sooner he can hire a defensive coordinator, the sooner he can start putting together a game plan for the 2023 season.

Here are some quotes from Kevin Wilson about the search for a defensive coordinator:

  • "We're still in the process of interviewing candidates. We've had some good conversations, and we're hopeful that we'll be able to make a decision soon."
  • "I want to make sure that we find the right person for the job. I want someone who is a good fit for our program, and who can help us get better on defense."
  • "I'm confident that we'll find the right person. We have a lot of good options, and I'm excited to see who we end up with."
Here are some rumors of candidates from Twitter and message boards:

  • Jim Knowles
  • Matt Guerrieri
  • Brian VanGorder
  • Todd Orlando
  • Mike Stoops
  • Glenn Spencer
It is still too early to say who will be Tulsa's next defensive coordinator. However, it is clear that Kevin Wilson is taking his time in finding the right person for the job. He wants to make sure that he finds someone who can help the Golden Hurricane get better on defense.

I personally am a fan of getting Jim Knowles haha.

University of Tulsa Football Team Begins Quest for Defensive Coordinator

Date: May 17, 2023

The University of Tulsa's football program has embarked on an intense search for a new defensive coordinator, aiming to find a skilled leader who can bolster their defensive strategies and bring fresh perspectives to the team's game plan. With their sights set on a successful upcoming season, the university's athletic department has made this hiring process a top priority.

This committee will work diligently to identify potential candidates who possess the necessary expertise, leadership skills, and a strong track record of success.

Coach Johnson expressed his confidence in the selection committee, stating, "We have a clear vision for our defense and what we want to achieve as a program. As the search progresses, names of prospective candidates have been kept confidential, but it is rumored that several accomplished defensive coordinators from successful college football programs and professional leagues have expressed interest in the position. The university aims to complete the hiring process within the next few weeks to ensure the new defensive coordinator has ample time to prepare for the upcoming season.

The Golden Hurricane's football program has a rich history, and recent seasons have showcased their potential to compete at a high level.
