But, the contract extension was idiotic. And I hope it doesn't take another 3-9 year to prove me right. Whether we got 9-3 or 3-9 this year, it doesn't matter. The contract extension was stupid. It damn near begs a colossal train wreck to happen this year.

AND paying an unproven brand spankin' new head coach exactly what Ole Miss paid to obtain a proven experienced head coach is worse than the damn contract extension.

a raise was called for, much less the extension. A simple bonus after last year and promise of a raise if he could repeat this year would have been sufficient.
