I spent the day there yesterday. Steve was there as we're 239 other coaches including Juwan,Dana Altman,Bobby Hurley,Maker,Capel and many more. I will highlight 3 kids who I believe Rutgers is or will be involved with:
Kyle Flipowski,6-11,2022 He is a stud and certainly the biggest 2022 star at the event. Rutgers has offered. Duke and UNC are prime suitors.
Papa Kante-6-10,2023
Rutgers offered very early and by some accounts is very much in it.
Reid Ducharme,6-6 2023
Kid is a scorer and can drill it. Looks like he favors Stanford but I see him as a much more skilled Mulcahy. I would think that he will end up with a Rutgers offer.
Penn State and Marquette are hugely visible and involved with most top 2023 kids. Obviously both new staffs.
Shrewsberry appears to be a great hire.
