We already have wins over 3 of the top 5 teams. Started with Pitt 3-1, then Stanford 3-0 Sweep. and an incredibly impressive reverse sweep against Kentucky 3-2 on their own court. This year's squad could very well go down as the greatest in DONU history especially if they sweep the rest of the regular season all the way through the tourney winning the NC which they very well possibly could. There isn't a team out there that's on our level. We are just brutal. This squad imo, is this school's VB version of that 95-football squad they're that good. How cool would that be for Dani to replicate her mentor's feat in her 1st year just like he did but do it better. Cook went 34-0 and won the NC his 1st year at the helm. In our history we've played pretty much every team in DIV I and have a winning record against all but 2 Stanford 9-12 and USC 3-7 Their last win over us was in 2004 and we've only played them twice since which we won in 2008 and last year and we'll win again this year. We also have 30-13 record against Penn St.
Here's a look at our All-Time record against the current top 11.
Kentucky 13-2
Pitt 15-0
Texas 33-25
Stanford 9-12
Texas A&M 32-7
Louisville 6-1 Only win 2021
Arizona St 5-1-1 Only win 1986 and tie 1977
Purdue 27-8
SMU 1-1 The loss to them last year hurt but beat them in 2023.
Wisconsin 24-14-1
