What supplements do you take? My Doctor has recommended Testosterone, and I am wary at 59 in doing this.

Fiber supplements...people usually aren't getting enough of that in their diet.

Beet root extract for BP

Berberine to help control blood sugar.

Otherwise, just on a multivitamin so far.

Obviously, your numbers are low and the Dr feels it would help you. My brother said he felt so much better after starting the injections. You have to do what you feel is best for you though.

I supplement my income with my side hustle as an old, overweight, pole dancer at the local strip club for the blind.

I think I recall reading a number of years ago a physician saying that among the supplements he recommended to patients, it was magnesium that garnered the best results.

Have to take the right form of magnesium, though (lysinate glycinate).

There's been a lot of talk recently about vitamin D and now the most recent thing I read was about taking vitamin D and magnesium together with dinner.

I take mine before bed mostly because that’s the only time i remember. I should take it at dinner.

Yes, for bone health, take your vitamin D, your magnesium, and your vitamin k-2 (the MK-7 form) together. Vitamin K helps your body absorb the vitamin D.

MK-7 and Its Effects on Bone Quality and Strength - PMC

From the above study:

"MK-7 increases bone mineral density and promotes bone quality and strength."

My wife's doctor prescribed her vitamin D after her bloodwork last year. There was a noticeable difference in her stamina after that.
