Dang, really reminded me a lot of Rex Burkhead, Josh Davis, Danny Woodhead and even a little bit of Brody Belt

Nebraska's top rated commit, but only the 587 overall prospect nationally according to the OWH.
I knew we wouldn't take Johnson and Hayes...too similar and we have two young backs already looking for PT.
I don't really blame him, considering he doesn't even know who his position coach would be here.
Yet they just offered Emmett Johnson, who is the same size as Hayes and the same type of back
Doesn't even have a Gopher offer. Man, you guys are going after players MN won't even look at.

You guys should. If he's not even good enough for us, and you are striving to be better than us, this type of recruit isn't what you want.
No we shouldn't. We could care less if he is good enough for you guys. If they like what the see, good, but who I guarantee they don't gauge **** off of what Minnesota does.
The one thing about dogshit recruiting, is that it really doesn't matter if they make it to campus or not.
Cue the this coaching staff is a jr high staff and a dumpster fire and we will never be good again downers…
I have no idea of what happens in house, but this seems like we backed off. After Lubick was fired they checked in with him a couple of weeks later and he was solid to NU and wasn't looking around and now all of the sudden he is going to Cal? I know it is the running joke about us not wanting him, but it seems like this might actually be true in this situation. Maybe it isn't, but just looking at it from the outside, it seems like it is the case.
Because both complaints are rooted in how bad this staff is doing in recruiting. This isn't hard.
We fired the RB coach 3 weeks ago who recruited this kid. It is possible that our new OC watched his video and said no thanks. With how young our scholarship RBs are who are returning starters, this one doesn't worry me too much.
