One day before the game and not even a thread started for this game? What is going on here? Someone needed to step up so I just did.

SP continues its run through the Gaston-Cleveland 3A conference and is well on their way to claiming two conference titles this year in 3A and 2A.

This one worries me a little. No time to be reading and believing press clippings right now! Every game is a step to the destination. No time to take a step backward. Get better every practice and every game, Red Raiders!! Smoke Gumby!!!!

If it was played at Ashbrook, maybe. I expect a tough game but SP will prevail, just like they did against the purple drizzle.

According to other posters, Ashbrook is a one man team. Devine's defense got a little exposed in the second half against Burns. SP shut clover out, and Ashbrook got ran over...

No trap game here. SP wins easily. With that being said, I really hope Andrews turns Ashbrook into a state power...so much potential over there at the greenwave.

As the Chargers well know, Ashbrook can play like trash one week against a terrible team and then throw all kinds of points on the board the next against a good one. Sometimes Jekyll and Hyde show up in the same game. We have always attributed that to poor coaching. Now they have coaches - from the Raider farm no less. If the Green Wave players are buying into the program, this would be the game to show it. I agree that SP should win but one can't help but wonder what effect last week bye will have.

Coach Hodge, Coach Devine thinks you're a wussie. Coach Andrews laughs at you when your name is mentioned. I know they are ex-Raiders, but I don't like how they are treating you!

I think a running clock and an apology is in order. Just trying to help!

This #1 ranking has me spooked. Don't want it to get in the way of the true goal. The only #1 that matters is at the end of the season.

We shall win and take Kane as part of the booty. That boy has Red Raider guts. Didn't you say he is already got the ankle biting cut block down?

Alexander with a huge game again. 267 yard rushing. Worried about big Phillip who went down with a knee injury on the first play. Say a special prayer for him as he is a great kid and would be a huge loss. Brooks kid is a stud for Ashbrook. Runs strong and great balance.

I agree ashbrook is strong having watched 3 qtr of game at SP last nite...If they threw the ball more they would be very good....in obvious times when they could have taken true advantage of that situation with a passing game - they still tried to run with sweeps and options......which was SP's forte....

Was the most disciplined and clean Ashbrook team I've seen in decades. Pretty impressed with what their coaches have done with them thus far. I have no idea what the pre-game Hawaii "fire up" act was, but besides that everything was impressive on their part. #72 for SP was Player of the Game. Go watch it.
