Something to talk about for all the teams with their football season is over.

This Is As Good A Time As Any to talk about 2022 football. I think a lot of teams this year, like Mount Airy, were Jr. & Sophmore heavy with their conference top teams having a great chance to go deep in 2022. If your team is one of them, let's hear it. Mount Airy should be loaded from what I hear. I was hearing some SMC teams, East Wilkes, and others fit, is your team returning loaded in 2022. Even if you think your team has a great chance, let's hear it. I think Mount Airy will be top 5 in the first ranking. List your top 15. This is not too early while the players coming back is fresh on your minds & includes the teams playing Saturday. If there are transfers going through the spring, your thoughts can change.

Mt Airy will win out again and get thumped I’m the playoffs , there u go season told in a minute .Now who will really be the team to beat , my bet the same few Mitchell , Murphy , Tarboro , Robbinsville

And as usual, your team starts basketball practice early. Do you have to run that jealous mouth about Mount Airy ? My bet is your team has never beat Mount Airy. Just a MA hater for that reason, plus the fact your team is a loser. LOL , which make you a loser ! ! !

Mount Airy goes deep again, and maybe deeper, could be better than this year. Some closer to the program will know more. I know a lot of returns including their sophomore QB as a JR in 2022.

When you sleep at night, do you dream of having a good team and have nightmares about the teams that go deep, or is it that you are a Mount Airy hater because your team can't beat them ? You are a hater and a crying sore loser.

He just pulls for East Surry and I saw a post on the 2A board that basically said East was not his school and I have asked several times what school he went to but he never answers. He only pulled for ES because they were rivals of Mount Airy. Just a Mount Airy hater and won't claim his school ! ! ! LOL, His only purpose on the 1A board is constantly putting down Mount Airy fans to get a reply ! ! ! We really get tired of his hatting .........

Lol ain’t that the truth , Mountie that’s all it boils down too , they cannot stand that East is Surry county football . We both out now so it doesn’t matter but East played some serious competition first few rounds and surprised me to be honest . Boy did they didn’t like it earlier in the year when I said , Mitchell , Murphy , Robbinsville, or Tarboro would thump that *** . I loved it , if I weren’t working this week I’d be there pulling for those mountain boys , but good luck anyway bring it home .

Matter of fact my son played at east and my daughters boyfriend played for the title team but I didn’t get on here bragging everyday , showing all those stupid stats and wast fans haven’t this season , but td is already on here starting out like last season saying ma is going to be loaded. I’ll say this they are a good area football team but they don’t have one player that will play d1 or close to that .So don’t brag like u are some powerhouse producing super athletes because you are not .

Running your mouth is not what I started this thread to see every other post. I pulled for East Surry on both 1A & 2A boards and I am pulling for Mitchell or any team from the west and not a hater like you. You had no one to talk to on the 2A boards so you come to the 1A boards running that mouth about Mount Airy fans. None of which has was a thing about East Surry but in my posting, I did not think they were a #2 seed and still pulled for them and posted I was wrong after the beat Maiden. So why are you on the 1A board instead of the 2A that you posted like you were not from east Surry on the 2A board ? They do have a 2A basketball board that you could be watching since you finally claim East Surry as they did well in 2A. Mount Airy was much of a surprise this year as it was supposed to be the next 2 years that they were to be better and they still are supposed to be really good next year with all the JRs & Sophomores moving up and the JVs went undefeated with some of those moving up and that is why Mount Airy should be as good or better in 2022. So do you have to show your azz on the 1A boards when your team is on the 2A. As I said I have always pulled for ES unless they were playing against MA. So how about leaving your hate somewhere else.

MA loses 13 Srs. #1,#4#6#10 hard to replace. Return alot of starters that were Sohmores. #3 #5 #15 #21 #32 #74 to name few. Talent will be their but will not go deep in playoffs. This coach cannot win a big game. MA was loaded with talent and he couldn't get it done. Out coached and classed vs Mitchell

Now back to the topic of the thread without bullcrap from a hater.
How does the SMC think they will do next year. I was hearing several teams were mostly JRs & Sophomores this year.

Its never a given to make a Championship but my guess is Tarboro will be there to represent the East for a few more years...this years team is sophomore heavy and the guys coming from JV and middle school will make them stronger. As I said no guarantees or promises...it takes a little luck to go with the skill.

I'm gonna bet on Andrews if they keep putting in the work next spring and summer. I know Mitchell gets the QB back and they're losing #22. Is Mitchell losing anybody strong from the line on both sides?

MaxPreps list two starters as seniors but someone told me they believe one is listed wrong so not sure if one two. There's a good size freshman 6'2" 260 who looks good plus the sophomores and juniors they had this year.

I was a little mistaken on Andrews. They will lose a lineman that started both ways #55 I believe and a DB that started 4 or 5 games for them this year #4

Basically 4 starters who play both ways. One lineman. All are super important players especially on defense and will be missed. Heard rumors a really good running back may transfer to Mitchell to get out of bad and now uncertain situation at a nearby school. The line will be the deepest it’s been in years. We have an abundance of freshman and sophomore linemen.
