In the first big out of conference matchup for the AAC, SMU last night got smoked by #13 Gonzaga 72-56. Meanwhile Iowa State looks like they will be as good or better than they were last year. Georges Diang is now the star and main man on this team. However it looks like the starters are all playing heavy minutes so I wonder about their depth. If you can't play your bench against Georgia State then who will you be able to play them against?
