Jah'Kei Chavis ran for two 1st half touchdowns and the Armstrong defense pitched a shutout as the Wildcats surprised Thomas Jefferson 28-0. Chavis finished with 16 carries for 147 yards

Quarterback Anthony Allen threw two touchdown passes including one to Ajenavi Byrd while completing 6 of 8 passes for 156 yards. Byrd had four receptions for 81 yards.

Marvin Banks led the defense with eight tackles, four tackles for loss including two sacks. Antonio Hopson had an interception as did Anthony Allen from the safety position.

Armstrong will get a chance to play Thanksgiving football; something they did annually in the city of Richmond in the Armstrong-Walker Football Classic.

Thomas Jefferson enterred the game undefeated including a 28-12 win over Armstrong earlier in the season.
