What? The guy is coming off two ACL injuries, he has a lot to prove. He is also a life long Husker fan, fwiw.
Yea, Fidone is still trying to see the field. I don’t think he’ll dick around with the portal.

At his best one of most talented TE in college ball. The downside is he hasn't been anywhere near his best in over 2 seasons. Somethings were going on with him, but all we ever heard from our reporters was he was dealing with personal issues. I think he played in a couple of games, but our TE room was pretty good. Whatever his issues are I hope he keeps getting the gelp he needs and has some good years for you. He thinks he is a WR.
From what I saw of his play pre-UGA, he runs like a deer in the open field. If he can get the playbook down, I think he could be used in a variety of ways.

I see this is a low risk high reward move. He's got a special talent. He can get open and he is hard to bring down. Hopefully he settles in and focuses on football and then goes on to have a really productive career here.

Damn, Rhule might have the best class since the Callahan days - IF you factor the portal into the equation.

I was prepared for one of his classic "turd first seasons"... But idk how we don't win at least 6?

More/better talent than last season, AND a unified staff and vision as well as with the athletic department. I really think we get minimum of 6 wins season. But I'll be patient and expect a solid year two and stellar year 3 😅

Has Rhule retweeted an announcement that he committed? Seems like he never did with the flakey Stanford OL.

Plus Mickey Joseph started to actually run practices like a non-moron, with live tackling holy cow what a concept, so Rhule got a little help from the outgoing staff, unlike if we had kept Frost all year to "save money"

Still thin on both lines. Need an OT and an interior DL. But things are looking up.

I remember when Scott Frost was all about 'Unity of Purpose'.

Well, ****. Legitimately did not know that.
That said, also truly think that a good % of this board act like talent doesn’t matter…

My bad.
No worries. I was making fun of those fans that think the key to us winning again is a bunch of kids from McCook who run 4.8 40s rather than 4 and 5 star kids like Georgia OSU and Bama get every year.

He is about a 4.65 guy. What you saw was before his issues caught up with him. He dropped out of LSU before season was over, transferred to UGA and took online classes for 3 semesters counting summer, got to around 300 lb. Got the weight under control, but with Bowers, Washington and Delp ahead of him he just never saw the field and we were in 12 personally almost 100% of the time.
