Anyone else out there find themselves oddly pulling for Orgeron?

I can’t really ever recall a time where I’ve consistently rooted for LSU, but for some reason I find myself liking that crazy bastard. In a game where 99% of the coaches seem to be ego fueled jerks, ol Orgeron just seems like an everyman kinda dude

Pulling for him ever since he left Ole Miss!

Yep. Got the poop end of the stick because he didn’t ‘fit’ the USC image. Hope he gets the chance to play’em someday. Still don’t know how he got past the censors at om.

kind of like the guy when we aren't playing them. I also like the under dog aspect that nobody seems to think he can win big there. I think it blows the minds of our local sports media that he is doing so well at LSU after being so bad at Ole Miss. it's just the right fit there and he finally learned to be a CEO and hire good coaches underneath him. we will see if it's paid off for him this weekend. he got really lucky getting Burrow and bringing in someone to help coach the passing game from the Saints. i'm thinking if he wants to sustain it he better find another transfer qb for next year.

Coach O is passionate about the game and his players. I know it firsthand, always pull for him, and hope he wins the National Championship.

A part of me pulls for him personally, but, then I realize that winning makes that obnoxious corn dog smelling fan base happy and I get over it. The image of Manieri hopping up and down complaining about calls enters my mind regularly too and that helps them disgust me even more

I'm oddly pulling for Saban. I can't explain it, but I am happier thinking of Orgeron as an idiot who LSU was stupid to hire. That line of thinking is getting hard to cling to, but I still enjoy whenever he does something stupid.

Plus, I have a lot of LSU alums as relatives.

I also tend to think Saban is more likely to go out on a high note rather than a low note. I don't actually think he would hang it up at the end of this year, but I do think he would be more likely to hang it up if he won one more title.
