Took a look at their roster and bios from their website. Looks like 10 newcomers mostly from community college or colleges I never heard of with a freshman or two. Only 3 or 4 returning players who saw less playing time than Rutgers returning players by far. Seems like every team is turning over much of their rosters. They have a 7’ player, a 6’10” player, 2 6’9” players and a 6’8” player so they have some size. How much talent they have is another question! Should be a good game to see how Rutgers players do against another team.Rider was awful last year and are predicted towards bottom of MAAC for this year
They have no height if I recall - albeit roster could be different this year
Have no idea however what to expect from our squad given the turnover and lack of a public exhibition !
Since you are Eddie Wilson, are you predicting a Season in Hell?there will be a loss in one of these games vs the midmajors, I would say that's about a -110 bet
I see what you did there.Since you are Eddie Wilson, are you predicting a Season in Hell?
I am sure this will go over the heads of 99 percent of the posters on this site.![]()
Not so long that RU is losing to Rider, you would hope.Gonna be a long season
I knew they were a tough squad AND we were playing them away. This year’s OOC guys are some real dregsDid anyone sweat Kennesaw State last year? I would not be surprised by anything.
We are totally going to loss one of those first 5 games.
Assuming Kenpom is right about the probability of winning each of those games, the probability of winning all of those games is only 78, so they do have a 22% chance of losing at least one game!We are totally going to loss one of those first 5 games.
I don't think there is any hope for a winning record, but it would be nice to come out of those first 12 games 8-4. It's doable.Maybe not Rider but Lehigh, American and Penn could be troublesome
Even when we are a good team, we always have a WTF non-conference loss.Assuming Kenpom is right about the probability of winning each of those games, the probability of winning all of those games is only 78, so they do have a 22% chance of losing at least one game!
John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band will know what you're talking aboutSince you are Eddie Wilson, are you predicting a Season in Hell?

Any road games are bad. i was sweating that when I saw it was a road gameDid anyone sweat Kennesaw State last year? I would not be surprised by anything.
I just posted it because he referenced “those worried about Rider”, I really didn’t have an opinion of what he said either way. Also - it was an exhibition game and Rider won by 12. Not exactly a nail biter.
Fair enough. I’m not expecting Rider to present much of a challenge either.I just posted it because he referenced “those worried about Rider”, I really didn’t have an opinion of what he said either way.
But Rowan is a D3 school. Also - it was an exhibition game and Rider won by 12. Not exactly a nail biter.
But Rowan is a D3 school.
Shades of some Fred Hill Jr teams? If so there must be one or more of these games going down to the buzzer, if not OT.Maybe not Rider but Lehigh, American and Penn could be troublesome
Fred lost to Jackson State at homeShades of some Fred Hill Jr teams? If so there must be one or more of these games going down to the buzzer, if not OT.
