Hope the young man is okay. To got from the initial thought of broken finger to “keep him your prayers he’s at the hospital” - I hope he’s all right.

Last I read he had a hand injury which will shelve him for a bit. Just what we needed, right?
Today’s blocking requires healthy strong hands. You have to be able to grab jersey inside the torso to sustain a block. The days of playing with foam casts is over.
