I'm thinking about switching to Hulu+ live my only thing I can't find answer to is this question: can I access sec network+, ESPN3, etc.? I know somebody here can answer this question. I'm not making a change if I can't watch watch the dogs play.

I dont have it but it does have sec network but Im thinking it does not have the sec alternate channel.

If it works like youtube tv you will use your hulu login to log into espn3

That's my plan, to use the Roku to watch baseball games next year. I'm tired of giving DirecTV too much money a month just so I can stream sports.

I use it and can watch just about all of our games (not sure which games, if any, I can’t watch). It has gotten expensive though. Used to be a really good deal. One thing I like about it is how easy it is to pause and restart. I’ll be pausing it after the CWS.

SEC channel - yes
SEC alternate - yes
ESPN 3 - there is not a stand alone channel but as was said by another you can log in on the ESPN site using HULU username and password.

Biggest negative is commercials when streaming pre-recorded shows. They are about 5 or 6 minutes long and impossible to avoid. When I first got HULU, you could pay extra per month for no commercials, but there were ALWAYs commercials, so that was a ripoff .

With the Hulu package, you get all of that. Sometimes you may access it through the ESPN app but you get access to everything. I have been gone from directv to hulu for a year and don't miss it at all.

You can use your Hulu account to log in to the ESPN app and get ESPN3 and SECN+. Those channels are not in the Hulu channel lineup, however. Not in the Hulu guide.

I’ve had both. I switched from Hulu to YouTubeTv because Hulu went up on price.

Then YouTubeTv did the same and leapfrogged Hulu. I still haven’t switched back because Hulu makes it much more difficult to avoid commercials. YouTubeTv doesn’t prevent you from fast forwarding through any commercials that I can see the way Hulu does.

Here is something weird on the commercials thing. We have Roku and Amazon Firesticks depending on which room you are in. On the Roku, can't fast forward through commercials. On the Firestick you can no problem. No idea why.

That is interesting. I’ve used Apple TV and Roku, and neither will allow you to fast forward with Hulu.
