Farmer ! He was part of one of the most disappointing recruiting classes in rutgers history …and that is saying something ! Is the kid division 1 material ? It’s a nice father and son story.
Prob not unless he gets a growth spurt. 5-9 ain't going to cut it

Lmfao! Anthony SR is no where near 6'5. And I mean not even close to it. But he was physically built like a nfl running back in HS. His son will probably be 6'0 as SR - hopefully Ant puts him in the weight room, like he obviously was. Wouldn't shock me if the son grew into a D1 prospect. He comes from good genes

How were Farmer and Inman disappointing? Anthony and JR were both 1000 point scorers when that meant something and Farmer was 4th all time in assists when he graduated.

Doesn't sound like a flop to me

What would BK know. He and Janet have only seen 30,000 Rutgers games in person.

Those teams were terrible . They basically got two coaches fired.
The people that criticize pike don’t realize how far we have come under him

Griffin and Gibson certainly didn’t pan out, but give me JR and Ant right now…

No thanks.
It’s amazing how people forget how bad it was . That group went 15-53 in conference play (I looked it up because for a moment I thought I misremembered. I didn’t ).

He did have some great posts on one of these boards . The beefsteak of turmoil
If I recall, he really disliked Freddie Jr. he was from Pomona, NY where I lived for 17 years. I think Freddie really ostracized him. he never could remember my name, just Rutgers Dad.

I have been on this site for many years so I am not surprised anymore, but is is still pathetic that such a great story can be attacked with anti-Rutgers comments.

Well , when people bring up former players it is kinda natural for the teams they played on to be discussed. If they were good teams, that would be mentioned too . Just because someone is a fan doesn’t mean they should ignore the facts.

Ehh JR was a pretty big disappointment as a player. But part of it I think was he was just playing in the wrong Era of basketball. He would have been a completely different player in today's game.

They were individually both okay but the teams blew.

That being said there was no reason for what comment in regards to this article

Fine . Since people here are throwing a hissy fit, I went back and deleted some of my original post and left the part people approved of.

Lol I agreed with your evaluation. Some ppl here just think every player that wears the scarlet and white deserves to be put on a pedestal

Agree.
There’s is nothing wrong with having a civil discussion and letting facts tell the story.

I don’t forget at all. That’s why I’m Pike’s biggest supporter. Both guys would definitely be getting minutes on this team IMO.
