The vhsl declared no state champion in track because final 4 events were rained out.. This may be dumbest move they have ever done. Make up the 4 events and crown a champion. That should not be hard to do. Vhsl has poor leadership.

Agreed, their Mission Statement,"The Virginia High School League is an alliance of Virginia's public and approved non-boarding, non-public high schools that promotes education, leadership, sportsmanship, character and citizenship for students by establishing and maintaining high standards for school activities and competitions." since when does quitting and going home fall into any of the above mentioned. The student athletes, especially the seniors, deserve better!
Just when one thinks the vhsl can't be anymore screwed up, they cancel a state championship event. That the same as if a football game were to be cancelled with 2 minutes to go in 4th quarter and declare no winner. Or a baseball game in 7th inning.

VHSL still has 4A baseball game between LCA and Kettle Run to play. Should have been played Friday but rained out. They should have found a field somewhere in the state and played it Saturday. But They rescheduled for Monday. They say field was still too wet. Will try again today.

Here we go again bad move VHSL. For not showing the baseball and softball championships. Would had loved to watch the Hanover / LCA game. Come on VHSL not everyone can travel long distances to see these game's. What's next no Football or Basketball Championships? What's the point in having a network if you're going to not show at least ALL the championships.
