on BTN “it’s January but Rutgers will make the NCAAs” and “I believe in this team” and “that Seton Hall win will be huge”
One of tonight’s announcers asked the other, “do you think a Rutgers is an NCAA Tounamemt team?” And the other said, “Yes!”on BTN “it’s January but Rutgers will make the NCAAs” and “I believe in this team”.
Just got home, visited with the wife and just turned on the TV to see Katz saying that. Nice. And I agree. We're good and capable of being very good. I could get used to this, especially when Cliff joins us next year - how cool was that chant and him getting up and waving to the crowd?on BTN “it’s January but Rutgers will make the NCAAs” and “I believe in this team”.
At Iowa- keep Myles on the floor to slow Garza. We have the perimeter D to harass their shooters again. He also said we need to win one more road game. So who is it going to be?
Well 40% of our B1G conference road wins all time are at PSUHe also said we need to win one more road game. So who is it going to be?

Michigan at the Garden. Crowd could be ours.
Maryland will be tough but they seem out of sorts, don't they?
At Ohio State... they are fading. Overrated outside of Kaleb?
At Wisconsin... we can defend these guys there.
At Penn State... we know we can match up with them, and maybe a lesser home court advantage than most.
At Purdue... well, that is a very tall order on senior day.
Really, it is a tough league to win on the road but we can steal a win or two somewhere along the way.
yeah just watched him now...really talked us up and says that the RAC is one of the best home court advantages in the Big 10 and could become one of the best in the country
says just get a couple of road wins and they will be there
Assign probabililtes to all those games and sum them up...you get a number closer to 2 than 1At Iowa- keep Myles on the floor to slow Garza. We have the perimeter D to harass their shooters again.

The RAC atmosphere sounds great on TV but man it looks tiny!!yeah just watched him now...really talked us up and says that the RAC is one of the best home court advantages in the Big 10 and could become one of the best in the country

By the same token, a loss that had me absolutely infuriated (well, it still does, but that's for emotional-fan reasons!) looks better and better every week. Well, maybe it's not right to say a loss looks "better," but it's certainly being mitigated with every game you guys win.if Seton Hall keeps winning, they may be our feather in the cap win that keeps giving and giving...damn I am getting goosebumps writing that
I would love it if they ran the table but thats just me
Wasn't there once an RU BB coach who said he doesn't teach defense?Yeah, the defense this team plays is no joke, flat out suffocating. That’s why we have a chance.
it looks like a throw back on TV. I always watch the highlights when I get home and it looks like the crowd is literally on top of the players. When the hell are they gonna pull the student section closer to the baseline?!The RAC atmosphere sounds great on TV but man it looks tiny!!
The question is this:
Is Rutgers a top 64 team?
The answer is 100% Yes unless we go through a total collapse.
I think this team will win 19 or 20 games.

I can root for SHU. Can't root for PSU. Ever.if Seton Hall keeps winning, they may be our feather in the cap win that keeps giving and giving...damn I am getting goosebumps writing that

SHU already back in Top 25 at #18. After last night’s win in Butler they will move up again.I can root for SHU. Can't root for PSU. Ever.
Edit - holy crap, had no idea they were 5-0 in the BE including a win at #5 Butler. Damn, they'll be back in the top 25 next week for sure, making that a very good win for us.

Thanks, missed that - thought it was odd they wouldn't be ranked before Butler - the could be 12-14 after that win and as long as they don't stumble at SJU.SHU already back in T

Doesn't matter if anyone is a top 65 team with all the at-large and conference winners. The question is this:
Is Rutgers a top 64 team?
