Amazing interview w/Ted Carter

I happened to come across this interview (suggested by YouTube) after watching some military jet videos.

As the video starts, I realize this is our own Ted Carter, and proceed to be stunned by his achievements in the Navy.

It's a longer vid, but I thought I would share it here for those that are curious.

I remember the Enterprise undergoing a lot of what Ted Carter is talking about. I've seen time in Norfolk, Newport News, and Portsmouth naval shipyards. Had to do some electrical work in that secondary captain's berth in the island he spoke about as well.

I never realized that carrier captains had to go through nuke school. I knew they were pilots. Crazy respect.

Pretty cool, I have watched his aviation videos on A6’s. Never realized he was connected to Nebraska

I think the nuke school is around the ships propulsion system and not nuclear weapons. Still very impressed with skills required to skipper a carrier.
