I’m loving it. 4th quarter should be great because of the Elam ending just like the last all star game. Pretty sure Curry could shoot nothing but half court 3’s and beat me in a 3 point contest shooting from any spot I desired behind the line.

Steph Curry is a living legend. He may not be the best player. But what he does, no one has ever done it better in the history of the game. Shooting from half court tonight.

I thought the Obi Toppin first dunk was best and didn't understand the peanut gallery poo pooing it.

That was ridiculous.

Like watching the dunk and 3 point contests, but probably haven't watched more than a few minutes of an All Star game in over 30 years. Feel the same way about the Pro Bowl and MLB All Star game after they went to interleague play. The MLB All Star game used to be my hands down favorite because of the matchups you'd otherwise rarely see.

Used to love the MLB All-Star game too but that has even lost its luster like you said.

I’ll watch marquee regular season games and always watch the playoffs. I figured tonight’s festivities would be too “woke” for me when I saw they were trotting out Harris before the game.
All this “woke” **** is for the birds. Trying to cram it down everyone’s throat. Have been for several months. I’ve heard and seen enough already! Absurd.

Hell, I’m a lefty who loves the NBA and even I thought that was contrived and forced.

The game itself wasn’t as good as last year, but team Durant was down two of its best players and team Lebron was already stacked as hell. That being said, seeing Curry and Lillard pull from 50 feet and seeing Chris Paul catch a lob and dunk it was worth the watch for me. Plus we had a Zion blooper reel in the first quarter

I turned it on in the second quarter and when I saw no serious effort or defense I turned on the Walking Dead and observed the zombies moving with more purpose.

It’s atrocious. Used to be must-watch TV for me back in the day. They’ve never tried to play defense but it was still a celebration of the best in the world. I hate the new format and wish they’d at least go back to East vs. West.

I watched some highlights today. I guess it was about as good as expected in a Covid season. Curry and Dame were nuts.
