Look at all those 4 & 5 star players on Alabama (#1 team in the nation) beating down Texas A&M 24-10. If NU don’t model their team like Bama then we won’t play in the Big Ten Championship game and College football playoffs. 1st we need to recruit top 4 & 5 star O-Line and D-Line players from the across country, big body wide receiver than can catch, and good dbs than can tackle and cover. Not the 2 & 3 star players. Also the defensive and offensive coaches need to step their game up or we need changes.

This is stupid. Why recruit 4 and 5 stars, when we can just recruit 5 stars. 5 stars are better than 4 stars.

Exactly. I hate when fans claim college teams are NFL caliber. Even with many 'Bama starters getting drafted, most won't stick around the NFL more than the average of two years. Even a bad NFL team is full of career guys who have been better than the average recruit by a significant amount. They'd pummel the college team.

I mean I’m not a coach on the team or anything but do you not think we are already attempting to do these things? I’d assume that we go after the best of the best, that happen to fit our system as well... now we are fighting an up hill battle to get them here and absolutely no team wins every recruiting battle... we just have to start winning and you’ll start to see more of these kids lining up to come play here... just like bama does
