Probably more simple than that. Someone needs to to take away his privileges. Wrestling and license would be a start.
Why don't we just change the title of this thread to: "No matter what.....AJ Ferrari is NEVER in trouble." Speeding away from an attempted traffic stop twice is a giant red flag or two. He refused to stop for a reason, and it had to be worse than a speeding and evading charge. His enablers should be ashamed

Unbelievable. How in the world is this young man still wrestling ? The NCAA and Manning are a Joke for real. Geez other recruits and parents should see Nebraska in a different light. How many chances does a person get. He is who he is at this point geez.
It's because he's good. If he was a backup or kid with a losing record his best case scenario would be an ankle monitor and suspended license for 5 years.

Yeah, look at Knox. It’s really any sport in general, judges are always lenient because “so and so has a bright future and he’s really sorry.” You can get away with an awful lot in America if you’re rich or good at sports.
How good is he anymore. Depending on his B10 outcome he may be a low AA. He peaked 5 years ago. He had the chance to win the dual for his team and failed. He is 0-2 vs Feldman.
Or check the right demographic boxes. All depends on the judge. To suggest that they (judges) are all objective neutral arbiters of the law is downright hilarious. Ferrari is a world-class athlete with the backing of wealthy institutions and individuals. He sure has gotten a heck of a lot of chances, it kind of defies logic. Whether that has anything to do with his athletic ability and backing, nobody from the outside can say, but it smells funky.
In the state of TX I doubt him being a wrestler will matter. Having $ to pay a good lawyer who has a relationship with the judge is more likely

For a testosterone filled ego maniac, AJ had about as much aggression on the mat as Will Lewan. Layer on top, that match determined the outcome of the dual. In front of an enthusiastic home crowd, when everything rested on his shoulders, he delivered a huge goose egg. I don't think he was ever going to to shoot, maybe he was hoping for one opportunistic counter?
Oh one could wish that Feldman had the ability to do the splits, but then again he has too much class to be a spectacle.
Knox is still in court for his charges. And NJ is wrestling country Texas not so much
His dad is a CPA so most likely he has been well compensated as an adult, but I have no idea if there is deeper money there or not.
AJ had no intention of taking down Feldman. He was going for ride-outs. He knew he could ride Feldman longer than Feldman could ride him. He just couldn't make it to ride-outs.....fortunately

The way to make money as CPA is either to own your own firm and work like a dog in the right market or be a partner in a Big 4 firm.
Ferrari Sr wouldn't have made it past the first year in a Big 4. (speaking from experience). Passive aggression and palace intrigue don't seem like something any of the in-your-face, open warfare Fiats would be good at.

This friday before the match my wife and I ate at the Nittany Lion Inn and sat next to four guys who were super nice. The guy closest to me was also a CPA and he didn't use the word partner but was one of the Top guys of a firm with 100 + staff; now retired. Glad I got to meet those guys.
I thought the same as Pitchfork, if you rise to the top, the rewards are there. I told my wife he had an extra 0 to his W-2 Box 1 than I had.
