I love anyone doing anything towards Ole Miss but ‘ol AJ is kinda like ‘ol Jake on Lonesome Dove. Once you go to running with the horse thieves you get to hang with the horse thieves.





Edited to say when I thought of the comparison I wasn’t envisioning or saying hang a black man, it was a similie, hopefully most will get that.

Plenty of racism in Oxford and at Ole Miss but the university has been fighting an uphill battle to build a culture of academic freedom / freedom of expression since integration, which is good because back then being pro integration would get you labeled a communist, atheist, etc. and get you kicked off campus or not invited to speak there. That said, I would prefer if we wouldn't allow the KKK on campus. I dont give a **** what they have to say, there is no point in discussing their views.

Yep, I am aware of the can of worms I would be opening. Honestly I'd be satisfied with it being 'the KKK and ISIS' at the moment. If we have to let them 'on campus' since we receive public funds I'd be fine with keeping them in the woods on the other side of highway 6.

He played for a school that actually celebrates the name of "Ole Miss". He lost all right to protest when he wore that name on his uniform. He embraced it. He has to live with that. How any African-American can is quite simply astounding.

I hope that one day I do something that other people view as a screwup and the results are equivalent to a prolific college career in the SEC, a fantastic start to my NFL career, and being a millionaire by the time I'm 22. The cherry on top would be listening to those people talk about how I was paying the price for that decision.

I have way more problem with AJ browns hypocrisy than I do with the name Ole Miss.
