The begging of this video shows what that kid is all about. Handling a tough situation like a man.

Adrian’s a class act, and I’m happy he’s a Husker. He knows that he’s not above the team and understands if he wants to be the guy he’d need to play better.period. Nothing is given.

The offense didn't look much different with Luke. I think he has a little better chance of breaking long runs, so I'd leave him in there.

He will get another shot at some point. You can’t play like Luke and notmiss a few series or games along the way.

I disagree that he will "win" the job back. Martinez has had 2 plus years to showcase what he can do, Frost has seen what he can do on the field. No way he makes a change at QB to McCaffrey if he wasn't looking at the long term change. Outside of McCaffrey just imploding and losing games, he will finish the year as starting QB. @cubsker the offense looked much better under McCaffrey in the first half. Then the staff went into a shell protecting a lead, that wasn't necessarily QB play. If your RS Freshman QB in his first start is "not much different" than the guy with 23ish starts, then you go with the RS Freshman.

We've seen how nicked up our QBs get in Frost's offense. IF we get a hobbled Luke, I think Frost will be more likely to sub in a healthy Adrian than to run out a hobbled QB. I think Adrian will play more this year but I don't think he'll unseat Luke unless either there's a major collapse by Luke or a serious injury.

I should rewatch the 1h. We did some good things for sure.

I called for Luke to get the start but that has zero to do with what kind of person Martinez is said to be. By all accounts he's a great kid who just says and does all the right things.

I keep hoping it will all fall into place for him.

Whether he is a starter or not, he deserves to get some snaps. Now that he has nothing left to lose, he might return to his freshman year self. We all agree that was a pretty good thing.

I'm glad he's proving his maturity. Class act. I still say work him in at I back or wildcat. Leave the keys with Luke, but to heavy in the wildcat. Just too dangerous to defend for most defensive talent in our league to not try this way.
