Adrian Martinez came in for the Birmingham Stallions in the second quarter with Birmingham down 11-3. He played in two series before being injured.

First series: "Martinez handed to Ricky Person who rushed for 7 yards, and then again to Person for another 5 yards and a first down. Martinez rushed for 15 yards, and then rushed again for 17 yards to put the ball on the Arlington 33. Martinez passed incomplete to Cain and head coach Skip Holtz complained about pass interference. On third down, Martinez connected with Cain for a 12-yard gain. On third down, Martinez overthrew his intended receiver and was intercepted by Duron Lowe in the Arlington end zone."

Second series: "Martinez was sacked on his own 16-yard line. A 13-yard pass up the middle to Marlon Williams was good for a first down, and then Martinez snapped the ball and took off for a 21-yard run to midfield. Unfortunately, Martinez was injured on the play and need help getting off the field."

He never returned after the injury. He finished the day going 2-6 passing for 26 yards and one interception, and he rushed for 52 yards on 3 attempts.

He's gonna get another shot at the NFL. Def worthy of a roster spot, perhaps backup or special packages for him.

Just goes to show the ineptitude of the prior staff. Kid regressed feom year 1 to year 4 and did what was best for his growth and development. Good kid and should always be embraced by husker nation. Didnt transfer from NU. Transfered from HCSF.

he will still exhibit some of the stuff that drove us crazy at NU but it's obvious that he's matured and is getting better QB coaching. His run threat is still a weapon.

I’m a happy for him. Seems like a good guy overall. I actually watched quite a bit ufl this year and thought it was pretty entertaining.

Where does the best defense in the ufl. Sit with a college defense? Or where would the best ufl defense sit in the NFL?

There's a lot of guys playing in the UFL who got a sniff in the NFL. There's a few who were on NFL rosters for multiple years. I think the level of competition is pretty good.

maybe amart's best game ever, idk, but certainly his single great outing at k-state. and it was truly special before he got hurt at tcu and will howard stepped in.

Martinez 10-19 164 1 TD 1 INT, 2 fumbles lost. After 3 turnovers in 2.5 quarters he was replaced by Matt Corral who helped bring B'ham back. Crazy game with both team turning the ball over 3 times in the third quarter.

Not a good game by Martinez in the semifinals game today. He had an interception and two fumbles, before being replaced by Matt Corral in the third quarter with Birmingham down 18-12 to the Michigan Panthers. Corral led Birmingham to a comeback win - 31-18 to advance to the finals.

you don't say?.. 2 fumbles and an interception and got benched.. and all when his team needed him to step up in a semi-final? hmmm.. some people have seen that movie before.
