How common is it for programs to switch these contracts? I don't pay close enough attention except to know that NU has been with Adidas since the days when we were winning Natty's.

It seems as of the last 3-4 years, somewhat common.

Miami, Tennessee, Notre Dame, UCLA, Rutgers, Washington, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Auburn, Cal and Arizona State; off the top of my head, have all made moves within Under Armour, Nike and Adidas.

In my opinion, Adidas needs to step up their game in the football jersey and gear department. Their jerseys all seem to have a weird look and fit, sometimes chintzy look. Their "swag" also very lacking and weird designs.

Under Armour seems to be dying off. They just lost Auburn, South Carolina and Texas Tech. They still have ND, Wisconsin, NW and Utah. Their founder (Kevin Plank) is a Terps alum, so they still sport that gear.

Nebraska has 3 years remaining on it's 11 year 128 million dollar contract with Adidas let's hope they continue with a bigger extension but it will require bigger things from the football team to get it.
