So yesterday's testimony was pretty damning for a bunch of schools. It was provided by Bruce Bowen, Sr. 4 schools mentioned by name in offering money for his son, OSU among them. Arizona was another. Louisville of course got his commitment and apparently Pitino knew about it. I can't see how these schools escape without 4-5 years probation, 12 lost scholarships over that period. Louisville will be lucky to escape without the death penalty. 2 major infractions within a 2-3 year period including Hookergate and this. This is pretty similar stuff to what SMU was doing in football in the 80s.

I also found it interesting that Creighton offered up $100k for Bowen, Jr. as well. Let's see if the NCAA cowers on this one. (and most of the allegations say assistant coaches were involved in the $ arrangements so it will be hard for schools to say they weren't aware because then the NCAA will slap the dreaded "lack of institutional control" on them).

You also forgot the part that his son played for former TU walk-on Shane Heirman who, according to Bowen Sr, was wiring $2,000/mo for his son to play on his HS team.

That was HS. I wonder how many other kids went to that HS and were getting paid. Private HS can do a lot of different things. Wonder if Dougie's kid saw any $$ from playing on that team
