Rough start for Addie

Her moves aren’t working at this level and she’s not adjusted to speed of the game. She just doesn’t look as athletic as some of the high school videos I saw. Might be a spot shooter for the start of her career but I’m not seeing anything that makes me think she’s going to be counted on this year.

I know this is your thing to get everyone worked up but it's her first game. I don't think she will ever get to play in rhythm this year behind McCabe and Kylie as starters.

You are a moron then. I thought her passing was good, other than the last 2 passes which were sloppy. The rest of the turnovers I really don’t have a concern with. 2 passes that could have been caught, a shot clock violation, a charge, and a double team poke away. Her shot is smooth. She will be a player at this level, the defense was much better. Yes continuing to work on foot quickness and adjusting to the speed of the game, but I saw massive improvement since the exhibition. Deals frame will always be a little heavier compared to Clark, get used to it. She may be able to tone up a little bit more, similar to Rodriguez but she has a more curvy figure naturally.

I’m not saying she won’t be special, I’m just stating that many here expected her to be a starter and difference maker from the start. I was laughed it when I said she wouldn’t even be the first off the bench. I like Addie, and looking forward to seeing her improve game by game.

I’m not saying she won’t be special, I’m just stating that many here expected her to be a starter and difference maker from the start. I was laughed it when I said she wouldn’t even be the first off the bench. I like Addie, and looking forward to seeing her improve game by game.

You have called her fat, you basically said she sucked in the game thread. Pointing to 7 turnovers - in reality yes she did have a too many turnovers, but other than the last 2 turnovers, I thought as a whole she had a decent night. Handles, foot quickness, defensive awareness need to continue to improve. Other than the last 2 passes mentioned earlier, she is a very good passer. The shot looks good. Her 3 was in and out.

I am cautiously optimistic she will have a significant role on this team. She is our 4th or 5th guard as of now and could jump to our #2 by the end of the season.

I think that she needs more time on the court in live game action. It will be difficult for her to improve sitting on the bench. Yes, that means sitting some other players.

As for her defense - I watched Stremlo last night because I thought she was going to make a big jump. I thought last year people said her defense was great. Time after time I saw her get beat last night. So Addie wasn't that much different in my opinion.

I didn't see Stremlow get beat consistently last night. I saw a player that was in the right spot several times on defense and getting steals or a solid rebound. She had 1 bad defensive play and that was fouling the 3 point shooter at the end of the quarter. She was a little out of control dribbling the ball - but that will improve. She had 3 steals, 3 blocks and 4 rebounds. Not bad in 16 minutes.

I can specifically remember at least 3 times she was guarding out about 17-18 feet and the girl juked her and went right around her.
