Just curious what everyone thinks about this one. Erwin seems to be down some this year. ACR took some lumps the first two weeks against 2 state powers but righted the ship some this past week against Owen. I will say ACR by 21

I’m not going to air out my thoughts on here, but losing some talent isn’t an excuse to get slapped around by 2 1A schools, and a tiny 2-A school.
Don't think this one will be competitive. The game I really want to see is the Rams vs Cougars. I'm wondering if the Crest and Kings Mountain games will pay off for the Rams. In saying that, the COOGS did score early on Burns before Lawndale's Finest dropped the mic on them. The Bearcat/Courgar game was wierd. Can't really use that as criteria. I do think South Asheville vs Asheville will be for atleast the 2nd place in the WMAC.
The west side of Henderson County might have a say so in all this before it’s over with. I think they are legit, their last two games are ACR and Asheville so we will see, I think they handle everyone else in conference.
Not saying it won’t happen, because it definitely could. However, if Erwin loses 42-7 I may lose my mind.
You can tell the Erwin kids are just not feeling it. They have some good looking players but it just isn’t working for them.
53-0 Final........ACR might not be what last years team was at this point, but they are definitely getting there, just taking a little longer to get everyone on same page. On a side note congratulations to Eli Carr for matching the school record with 6 TD passes, and to Jhari Patterson for setting a school record 179 receiving yards in a game.

It’s almost like Asheville and Erwin said to themselves “hey let’s see if we can help Reynolds mac winning streak get to 100 by seeing who can underachieve the most”

We typically spread out our passing to several receivers, especially the past few years.
Yea that’s true, I’m just surprised by that number. Especially when you consider that nobody in high school football history has wasted more good wide receivers than Asheville high and we have had a few over 200+.

Yeah Scarborough did light is up that year, the guy from Shelby did his impersonation of Scarborough a couple weeks ago against us, he had 230+ against us, just too fast and very tough to tackle.
Looks like the second Bucky left the only thing Erwin did well went out the door with him.

Shelby had 2 over 100 fri and others under..think Huskey had 80.

Wait til y’all play us this year, he might get 300 receiving. We like to put our smallest corners in single coverage on the other teams best wide receivers until we give up 5 tds to him and then change some things up. Like putting a 5 foot 9 corner on a 6 foot 4 WR at Hendersonville last year. Another favorite Asheville past time is finding whoever your best player is on kickoff and kicking it right to them. We have done that at least a dozen times the last 20 years. If jhari or Rico is back there.... we will kick it right to them
No one has kicked to Jhari on kickoffs except Shelby and he had 2 returns for 117 yards and 1 TD. Those are the only kick returns he has this year, everyone else has pooched kicked it or kicked it away from him.
