Networks tried to kill the Big East and the conference posted a winning record in BCS bowls. Networks tried to kill the AAC and UCF and Cincy rose up with Cincy now in the playoff. I suspect the Big XII leftovers won’t just die either. However the better programs in this new era will inevitably leave the conference one day, that’s how it always goes down. So far networks have been successful in killing UConn, that’s about it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
