Based on your logic, you would also have to surmise that the B12 is better than the B10 in football and basketball, right? Oklahoma made the playoffs in football again and the B10 did not again. And TT made the championship game in basketball (and also won the women’s title) and Michigan State did not.A few years ago Coastal Carolina won the title in baseball. Did that mean their conference was the best baseball conference? Villanova won 2 of the last 4 titles in basketball. Was the Big East the best? Was it better than the Big 10 or ACC?That said, I was not worried about TT winning a national title. TT winning last night would have in no way enriched my life. I enjoy the sport and can watch a game without having a vested interest in who wins or loses. I don’t have 37 fall back teams to claim as a favorite if one of my many other favorites fail to get the job done, but I don’t fault those that feel the need to claim a new favorite each week. It doesn’t take anything away from me if they choose to cheer the way they want.It’s all a game and unless you are a coach or player or administrator. None of the rest is really that big of a deal in your life unless you allow it to be. So arguing over who has the best team or conference is fun, but doesn’t mean anything.</blockquote>
