ACC announced 9 conference games for 2026

First question I had when I heard they were doing this was how will they select the conference championship game competitors with some teams playing 8 and others playing 9? Sounds like they will announce how they will do that, as well as how they plan to fix the 5 loss Duke problem, next spring/summer.

“Flex games” are an interesting idea … really curious to hear how they would implement that.

Tough schedule. I don’t know what “competitive equity” means, but unless all teams are playing the same number of conference games, it sure isn’t fair.

No. The only dates that are set are Sept 5 for Ole Miss and UK on November 28. Even the game against Villanova is not yet announced for a specific date.

In past years, the ACC has announced the full schedule for all teams on or about January 30th.

I thought this was a very fair schedule -we play 9 but 5 are at home. The total in conference records of the teams we play is below .500.
