On the news a few days ago there was a 340# lineman at Stillwater that after 30 days was disenchanted with the program and had said he wanted to leave Stillwater and was interested in TU. Is there any news about him, I don't remember his name.

Tyler Brown, out of Lexington, but you would have to think if Stillwater was to big, Tulsa would be also

You have to think he was talking about the school. The town the School is located in, I would think it would be secondary.

The quote I read made it sound like the city. He comes from a town of 2000 people.

I suspect it's also partially girlfriend driven.

If my memory serves me correctly, Brown was a legit player. When you get a player who doesnt even make it through the summer workouts you have to question if his heart is really in the game and if he has the will to really stick things through especially when he didnt even get to the really hard part which is 2 a days practices. If Im a coach on our staff and Brown is in fact interested, I would go into this thinking there is a high chance he doesnt pan out but if he does the risk reward payout is pretty darn good!

A running back who is a graduate transfer. Raymond Taylor from OSU. He is needing a waiver due to a year as a student at K-State. Be interesting to see how this turns out.

Raymond is a great young man and a pretty good rb, at times our most effective last year.......if you want to see clips of him go to you tube and watch the raw highlights from the OSU-TT game last year, he had two td runs, both were outstanding. he is short (5-7 195) but pretty quick , hard to bring down, his weakness is that, despite having our longest run by a rb last year (58 yards against UTSA) he is not very fast. His lack of speed was really noticeable when we played more athletic teams at the end of the year. He was originally a walkon, but earned a scholarship last year. He finished down the depth chart this spring, we had a couple guys who were first year guys last year really improve and then a new walkon that was really impressive, and then Barry Sanders coming in, he would have been pretty far down. I really hope he gets that waiver, he is the type kid you can give the ball to him 30 times a game and he just goes all out everytime
