You can see why these teams are 8-9. They should be 9-10 or worse. Still have Mike Nance and his crew.i think I am for Tulane. Penny’s last D-1 game maybe.

Their fans were all in on throwing Tubby out to get a shiny new Penny. Make them keep him another 5 years.
What do you think our chances are to keep our retuning stars that are not seniors we will have a new team every year due to our small nil spending and the lure of dramatically greater $ for sec big 10 12 acc etc and we probably will Lose our head coach and assistants that’s just the new world and this year is an oddity win in ncaa or wait 20 more years.

I don’t know if Tubby could have been successful there or not but he never had a chance. The fans wanted instant success and Penny was actively working to get players to not go to Memphis because he wanted the job.

According to paper today, Konkol did not suddenly become a great coach, it was the new AD coming up with new NIL money. That was Berry Tramel’s column today. I think it was that but I give Konkol a lot of credit too.

I was just having this conversation with WD off-line. What do you all think?…. Is this coaching staff amazing evaluators of talent when they got the money to go out and recruit who they wanted, or did they get lucky with this class, or was it a combination of both?

How huge was the crowd for Penny's sayonara tour of a single game? That's only a 3 1/2 hr drive. I bet they came in droves.

Both bands were there and cheerleaders. Both teams were turning it over a lot and no fouls were called.

The officiating style so far is not going to be beneficial to us. It will definitely favor the more physical teams.

Charlotte and Tulane are not close to UNT and FAU. At least not showing it yet.

First team to 50 may win. Charlotte is 4-30 from the floor first half.

When your opponent shoots under 18% and only up a few there is a problem.
It is imperative that Fau loses today to unt we can beat unt on a neutral court baldly not so much fau that’s not a good physical matchup and an inspired game with wsu we will win handily and when usf gets to the finals miracles can happen when winning a championship is on fhe line you can throw out the stat book and past performances and coach konkol can proove he could be the next nolan tubby or self

8 minutes to the and it looks like Carlotta might be ready to run Tulane out of the gym.

It will be funny as the 8 seed, if Memphis loses to Tulane, who loses to Charlotte, who loses to to UAB, who loses to USF, who loses to us.
