are becoming someone to be reckoned with. I didn't watch the game, but I thought the Temple game was an upset, now I'm not so sure.

Yep. and so far the only bottom dweller that hasn't made any obvious moves and/or commitments to get out of the cellar is Tulane! One team seemingly content to stay in the cellar ain't bad for a 12 team league.

UConn scored on their first possession against Houdton. Lead 7-0. Should we be cheering for Houston to win out? It's really hard for me to do especially having to look at Herman on the sidelines.

I think Boise St lost again last night. The G5 NYB rep will be an AAC team. I think Temple has a chance to jump back in w/ a win in the championship game. Navy and Houston, whoever wins that and the championship game goes.

With Memphis losing to Temple, as much as I HATE to say it, I want Houston to win out and represent our conference in the top bowl position for the American.

Looks like we should all be pulling for Navy next week. I'm sure a lot of people are glad to not have to pull for Houston. Me, I don't care what they have or haven't done, I want to pull for the team likeliest to make a New Years Day Bowl.

We really need Temple to beat UConn next week. A Temple vs either Navy (my preference) or UH likely ensures AAC Champion plays in New Years Day Bowl. If Temple loses and USF wins next week they would be in the Championship Game. If USF wins it all no way they get in NY Day bowl after early season bad losses.

rooting for Navy to beat UH, then the Navy-Temple winner to the NY Day Bowl.

Navy is not a threat to move to the P5 - no basketball program. Temple is such a newbie to success and just moved up to AAC - no P5 threat. UH is openly campaigning for the Big XII.

I don't think UH can beat Navy - too disciplined, good defense, very hard to stop the option consistently. Navy pops big plays - did it twice against TU - and the kickoff return made it impossible for this to be close.
