If Gebbia can run a little like Mac I think he would be fantastic in this offense.

Tough to stop 4 WR that run legit 4.4 and you get the ball to them out on the perimeter. Corners and safeties have to fan out and press, which opens up the middle of the field. Then attack there.

I like the offense a lot with the right personnel. Just need that speed out wide...

Definitely fun to watch.

The D may not be the best, but they are playing well so far.

22.5 pts/game allowed.

Not bad, especially since the offense puts up 48.3 points per game.

Need guards that can pull and a smart QB that makes quick decisions too.

I posted in a thread several days ago that I hoped the DC would stay at UCF. I hope it even more now. Frost obviously has learned Chip's offense but unfortunately also may have learned his defense.

Anytime you have a linebacker covering a speedy receiver like that… forget about it.

To me it looks like the front seven is holding their own. It’s the back half of the defense that’s not doing their job. Memphis puts a lot of pressure on you. Not sure they see anybody in the B1G like Memphis O.

This is like 8-man football. Track meet.

I played 8-man.

My cousin ran for a TD almost every time he touched the ball against one team. At one point, he had 5 TDs in a row, all over 60 yards. Ended the game with just under 600 yards rushing I think.

With that being said, a lot of games that were even talent around that time (15-20 years ago) only put up 20-35 points a game, but when one team was more talented, the game got out of hand by the end of the first quarter and teams were 45'd often.

They are great at generating turnovers so points allowed isn't bad but poor in yards allowed. Bend and create turnovers defense. Of course the Oregon tempo means the defense is on the field a lot and Memphis plays the same way.

Lol at those Memphis is no joke either. You need 4 man fronts that can breakdown OL blocking schemes, or these 2 teams will run up and down the field all day.

Is this the type of defense Nebraska will be playing? Giving up 21 (or more) points in the first half to top 25 teams?
