Really would go a long way. Last night was great, but WVU has not recovered from it's slump. A win at Kansas would put WVU back in the Big XII race and help the NCAA tourney resume.

Don't we have to beat Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech and ISU to be back in the race? If not then Tech and KU will need to lose more games.

You are describing what it takes to win the race. I'm just saying get back in it. WVU is 2 games back from lead and 1 from second place. Beat 2nd place team on Saturday and you are tied for second and they won't have the first tie breaker. That's in the race. Lose and you are 2 games back from second and maybe 3 from first. 2nd place team will also hold the tiebreaker over you. Not much hope to make up that kind of ground and hence no longer in the race.

What is the first tiebreaker we would hold over Kansas should we win Saturday?

WVU just needs to win out and not worry about whatever happens elsewhere. That will go a long way toward setting up a good atmosphere for the Big 12 tournament and March Madness. Kansas fans have bigger problems: The possible end of a long, long dynasty in the Big 12.

I never said we would. First tie breaker is head to head record. Lose and KU definitely has the tiebreaker. Win and it's a 1-1 record which moves it to the next tie breaker and maybe WVU can get that one. I believe is record against the best conference record other than the 2 who are tied, but not 100% sure.
