This article was written by a close friend of a close friend of mine. I actually complained about it a bit because if she was going to go into detail about the lack of resources, she should’ve also pointed out that Theresa Grentz came here as the only full-time paid women’s basketball coach in the country. So RU was ahead of the curve. Stringer’s deal was also ahead of the curve. I thought a little bit of balance was in order.

As an aside, it is interesting to see those photographs; I remember those faces from school — in classes and at the dining hall. Athletes eating regular dining hall food doesn’t much happen anymore though.
