What I like best is that this team has shown it can keep it together mentally--for the most part--for at least seven consecutive games that include back-to-back road games.
Long road trip, worn down and all the wrong momentum in a tough environment and to still hang on and find a way ... what you water, grows baby. This team is legit and with all the weapons firing on all cylinders they can really do this. The strength will help not only in-game, but when the loss comes, having that mental strength to not let it spiral, and get the next one like nothing
I agree. I thought this game was a real gut-check win. We led for most of the way, the Nebraska tied up at 52, but our team believed in itself and didn't quit. ( a subtle Eric Legrand reference ).
