Fowler highlighting the last time Bama was #1 in the regular season. Nov 3 1980. "Mississippi State gets a fumble to preserve a win" (next play) "BUT - that's why you're Mississippi State - you fumble it right back and somehow recover on the goal line".

1. It was November 1.

2. We didn't "fumble". The NT from Alabama slapped the ball out of Hull's hand as he snapped the ball.

Other than that, it was neat to see 6-3 on Gameday. Hard to believe that was the last regular season game that Bama was #1.
