Great job by Coach Pope. Missing 3 guys who were starting, 5 wins in a row, back to 14-6, 5-2 in the SEC. Are we gonna win the Championship this season? Probably not. The team wasn't great when they had everyone healthy. But the team is tough and has scrap, and overcame the injuries and a couple of really big game changing calls. Great job
Long way to go still, but this is why you don’t call for a coach to be fired in December of his second year.

I think it always is. We are missing some talented players, but I have never thought playing 10-11 guys were optimum. There are exceptions, if you are 96 or 2015 and you have that many top players, sure, but this ain't that. 8 man rotation with a 9th playing minimal is best for continuity and preventing drop off

I've been very critical of Pope but have to give him credit. The team was in a freefall and looked like they were about to give up but Pope has convinced them to fight and play hard.

I've not suggested once that I wasn't happy the team was winning. Pope is playing 4D Chess, and you're stuck on Checkers.
I think the injuries kind of helped to be honest. Now the staff can commit to a game plan and strategy. This team can play a different style with Lowe at the point, and it was probably always “hey do A if Lowe plays and B if he doesn’t.” Which is probably impossible for the players. Now they can gameplan around the team they know they have and really drill it into the guys.
For all the injuries and issues with this team, they're a Missouri choke away from winning 10 of their last 11 and sitting at 6-1 in conference.

Or lsu and UT not blowing massive leads away from 4 and 3. I'd say considering all 3 games, we are in a good place.

Gonna have to buy the wins on the road this week. All of us that gamble put 100 or 2 on Vanderbilt Tues and Arkansas Saturday. That should be enough to get us a win on the road.
Yeah, we might go from 14-6 to 14-8 by next weekend. If we get a split and sit 15-7, 6-3 with a couple of home games after that, Ill ve very happy. But if we do lose both those week, at least the fire Pope crowd will get to come back out and play
