That is what Heisman Dixon had after his 62 yard run. It only took him 15 carries after that to break the 100 yard mark. Just like last year, we are a GREAT rushing team. BAAAAAAAAAAAAA

breaking out for a big run is part of the running game.

i really dont understand why you would discount a big run...as if that was a fluke or something? of course it doesnt happen often, its tough to do. regardless, its part of a RB's stats.
he has 22 runs for 121 yards. he gained 5.5 yards per carry.

shut the F up and be happy with 5.5ypc. christ, there are clearly better things to ***** about.

...discounting his big run is on par with the sheep saying 'taking away his 6 interceptions, he played pretty good against LSU.'...and other dumb **** like that.
both are F'n dumb arguments that are built on just taking away things that actually happened.

Or it means that our running back was nonexistent for MOST OF THE 2nd and 3rd quarters when we were nursing a 14-13 lead and a 16-14 deficit.

game truly is and this was against a very bad team. It's not so much a diss on Dixon as it was to show how bad our offenisve line and running game really is.

he tied his season high in carries and had his season high in yards today.

for him to have then also produced during the times you mentioned, he would have had close to 200 yards rushing today.

127 yards today...what the F more is expected?

/i know those yards were against lowly MTSU. im sure that will also discount his play tonight.

Excuse me? Our sheep fans touted us as a "great" rushing team last year. We averaged a shade over 130 yards per game. For a team like us that is basically a rushing team (i.e. our pass game sucks ***) 27 carries for 127 yards by our feature back is a pretty pedestrian number. I didn't discount his long run. BUT I did it to make a point that when our idiot of a coach went to the shell offense, our back basically had 18 carries for 30 something yards. Your and idiot.

so how many should he have had?
and how many should he average per game?
what individual stats by Dixon would keep you from complaining?

i can stand our offense, its a joke. its horrible. but to actually then expect the feature back to run for what would amount to just short of 200 yards is absurd. sure, hope that he can do that...but to expect it? its just unrealistic.
