The schedule gotten tougher and it sounds from comments from Huggins as if the flu bugs that have been hitting the East hard have had an effect. Adrian was sick for nearly two weeks the way it sounded on the coaches show awhile back.

The 9 p.m. EST starts out that have been so common on the plains and the 6 am. arrivals back in Morgantown are probably adding to the fatigue factor that is normal for WVU teams in this league.

I guess it depends on how you look at it.
WVU won 4 of 5 in Big 12 games, then 5 of 6.
That's pretty impressive.
5 of 7 in the most recent games, too [/QU

That sounds to me like a team on a roll. Split with #3, in a rout and losing in overtime. Good resume, in my view. Disappointing minutes amid more than 20 outstanding games. OTE]

It's almost like we're not actually that destined Final Four team that was all the rage earlier in the season.

That's not to say my opinion has changed...just that others have jumped ship.

I don't think anyone, including me, knows how far this team will go..
It has the capability to beat any team, as its victories over ranked teams show.
And all 6 losses could easily have gone the other way since WVU has never lost by more than 7, and 3 times in overtime.
The problem is doing it 6 games in a row because there are no do-overs in March Madness.
I'm hoping the mad dogs defense destroys every time it meets in March Madness.
Either way, it's been an exciting ride and WVU is a team that NO other team in America really wants to meet in March Madness, particularly in the 2nd game of the week when there's only one day between games.
I can't wait to see how this turns out.

2010 Final Four team went 4-1 in their last 5 including finishing with 3 wins in a row to end the regular season. Then went on a 10 game run to the FF. Final regular season record was 24-6. This team can probably do better/match than that, but the need a little more fire to do it.
