The question I want answered is why did the 4A North push GW to play all the games in such a short amount of time when the other side of 4A is now down to 2?

Friday Feb. 27 - GW plays at Fleming
Saturday Feb. 28 - GW plays at Glass
Monday March 02 - GW plays at Courtland
Wednesday March 04 - GW plays at Woodgrove
(THEY TRY to schedule for March 05)
Friday March 06 - GW plays at Glass

5 Games in span of Friday to Friday. Regional final should have been played somewhere other than at Glass and officiating crew should have been from another area.

I was puzzled at the Officials Assignments in post season. There comes a time when "local refs" should no longer be used.

Also GW should not have had to play on home court of all those teams. use neutral sites for tournaments.

Snow caused the lateness of the Fleming game.

Conference sets the locations.

GW has had a remarkable run and will have alot of returning talent next year. GW and Fleming will be in a different conference next year. Many observers thought WF was the best 4A team this year and they could not make it out of the Conference semis.

Refs

Totally agree for basketball and football. The Richmonnd associations should be considered.

Re: Refs

I know most of refs in Lynchburg and Roanoke associations. I am amazed at some of the big game assignments I see.
